2 mouse clicks opens the drawing for a part file in an assembly
While in an assembly, the fastest way to open the drawing for a part file within that assembly is to simply right click on the part whose drawing you would like to open and select Open Drawing from the popup menu. The drawing file for this part will immediately open.
There are two little secrets to this in order to make it work for LogoPress users:
1) By default, this command Open Drawing is not a visible menu option in the popup menu. So if you’ve never added this Open Drawing command to your right click popup menu before it is extremely easy to do so. To add it, simply right click on a part file in the assembly, and then at the bottom of the list of menu options you will see a command called Customize Menu. Click on this and locate this Open Drawing command in the list of commands, check the box and then click outside in the graphics window to close this popup menu. The Open Drawing option will now be available when you right click on a part within an assembly.
2) If there is an existing drawing for this part file (there will be one if you are using the LogoPress passive method of automatic drawing creation) and you are using the default folder structure for using LogoPress (which means the drawing file that got automatically created when you added the part is located in the same folder as the part file) then the drawing will open immediately when you select this Open Drawing command on the right click menu.
